Putting Tech Problems into Perspective
Whenever I get down about the technology problems I have (hacked server, network problems, bad hard drive, etc) I try to remember things like going to www.linksys.com and getting the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not
exist or access denied.
/GlobalDBConnection.asp, line 6
That's it. No page on Linksys.com is currently accessible. (As a reminder, Linksys is now owned by Cisco, widely regarded in the computer world. I wonder if they have an opening for a network manager?)
It's kinda like watching Springer to put your personal problems in perspective.
