E3: Come and Gone

Another year, another missed E3. Actually, I didn't exactly miss it--I did organize and orchestrate a presence for a company I work with/for, but I didn't [get to] attend.

I'm of two minds regarding E3:

• It's great to attend, see the madness, and be a part of the gaming culture I hold so dear.
• It's a real trial to stand the madness and I don't really see anything or experience anything that I can't get by consistently reading industry mags and playing available demos

When I'm not there, I miss it. When I go I quickly tire of the event--it's just like every other expo. (But it has games!.) Ah well, perhaps next year.
