Comprehending Migraine Pain

I've often wrestled with describing migraine pain to folks that haven't ever had one. Then I read this article, on ice cream “brain freeze”, which ties the causes and pain of brain freeze and migraines together. It's right, migraines are very similar to brain freeze.

So, for those that have never had migraines, I envy you. That's what they feel like--but for extended periods of time.
