The Birth of the Federation

Perhaps inspired by last week's Star Trek: Enterprise episode (where the seeds of The Federation of Planets were sown), two pioneers in private space flight have formed their own federation.
The folks behind SpaceShipOne (winner of the X Prize), John Carmack's Armadillo Aerospace, Alex Tai of Virgin Galactic and many others have joined forces to form “Personal Spaceflight Federation.”
The goals of the Federation are simple, work together to advance the future of private space flight.
This is very cool.
