EFF Nonsense

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has undertaken some very worthwhile causes since their inception. In fact, one of their first causes was defending the rights of one of my favorite game manufacturers, Steve Jackson Games.

However, such organizations tend to be breeding grounds for fanatics who usually just want to "stir the pot" for stirring's sake.

Take this escapade by John Gilmore, for example...

I still believe the EFF does great things, but stunts like this from one of their co-founders, IMO, doesn't endear their cause to those that aren't of their ilk. Perhaps I just have weak values...
